Collaborating with Sinotech Engineering Consultants Co., our joint research and development of a three-dimensional transparent ground-penetrating radar image analysis auxiliary device aim to effectively detect cracks on supporting surfaces. This device can be easily installed on construction vehicles traveling at speeds up to 50 km/h, enabling fast and precise scanning.
The research and development results have successfully obtained both invention and utility model patents. The device can work collaboratively with three-dimensional transparent ground-penetrating radar, providing assistance and enhanced resolution for imaging while achieving real-time synchronized recording.
Even in high-speed movement scenarios, the device maintains image clarity, avoiding blurring and distortion. Currently, we plan to widely apply this technology to major important tunnels in Taiwan in 2023 for crack detection.
The application of this technology not only improves detection efficiency but also has the potential to enhance tunnel safety management standards. We anticipate that through this advanced technology, substantial improvements will be made in tunnel inspection and safety maintenance in Taiwan.
